Permanent Silk Flowers - How to Choose Yours

Permanent silk flowers may be a good alternative for fresh flowers. While fresh flowers are gorgeous and fragrant, they eventually die and need to be replaced. Permanent silk flowers may seem a little on the expensive side but with minimal care, they never need to be replaced.

At Flower Plus we offer the best quality permanent silk flowers and we have designed an easy step-by-step process to help you choose what works best for you.

Step 1 - Flower & Container Selection

You choose a floral container and the silk flowers from our large selection of silk / artificial flowers.

If you have a specific flower/colour in mind and don't see it at our store level, please ask and we will let you know whether we have that item in stock.

* Silk flowers are priced per stem.

Step 2 - Prototype

Buying silk flowers is a big investment.  So before you commit to the project and before we cut the silk flowers, we prepare a prototype similar to the picture below.

For the Prototype, the flowers are arranged and placed by the chosen container for your review.



Step 3 - Commit to the Project

If you like the prototype and would like us to proceed with the silk flower arrangement, we will ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit before proceeding. 

The silk flowers are cut from their standard length to custom lengths that fit the chosen container and for the style of the arrangement. The flowers are also glued into the container to ensure your arrangement will continue to look the way it was designed for many years to come. Once cut and glued, we cannot re-sell the silk flowers so the deposit is non-refundable.

Step 4 - Final Product

Depending on the size and complexity of the project, your custom-designed silk flower arrangement will be ready between 1-2 weeks after you commit to the project and provide your deposit. Please note, it may take longer during peak holiday times such as Valentine's and Mother's Day.

It is a good idea that you come to pick up the arrangement yourself instead of having it delivered or sending someone else to pick it up for you. We can still make some adjustments to the arrangement if it did not turn out the way you had envisioned. 

The most common request at the time of pickup is to add more silk flowers to the arrangement to make it lusher.
